Police arrested a man using a woman's stolen debit card in an attempt to purchase a piece of jewelry. At 5:23 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, a 42-year-old man tried to buy a sterling silver neck chain in a department store on Prince Street. His attempt proved unsuccessful, however, as the store clerk noticed the debit card he used belonged to a woman. Before apprehending the man, the arresting officer called the bank issuing the debit card and determined that the card had indeed been reported lost or stolen.
