On Saturday, December 28, a thief made off with shoplifted merchandise from a drugstore on Amsterday Avenue. At 7:30 PM, the unknown perpetrator nabbed $2,500 worth of test strips and Mucinex from a drugstore on Amsterdam Avenue. Store video is available of the incident.

Parked and Picked

Property was stolen from a parked car. At 8:30 PM on Friday, December 27, someone smashed the rear window of a car parked at West 81st Street and Amsterdam Avenue and stole items including an Apple MacBook laptop valued at $2,500, Bose headphones, and a GPS system. The total haul came to $3,900.

Bar Rap

Someone stole a woman's bag from a bar on Broadway. At 3:30 PM on Sunday, December 22, a 39-year-old woman laid her bag under the bar. When she looked for her bag later, she found that it was missing, along with her wallet, credit cards, and cash. No video of the incident is available.

Poor Sport

A bag was taken from behind the register of a sports store on Broadway. At 7 PM on Friday, December 27, a bag containing a cell phone and cash valued at $2,100 was taken. There is no video of the incident.

Subaru Boo Hoo

A car was broken into and property removed. At 2 PM on Saturday, December 14, someone broke into the trunk of a Subaru parked on Columbus Avenue and removed a duffel bag containing clothing and an Apple iPad valued at $1,800. There is no video of the incident.

Cell Hell

A man snatched another man's cell phone on the street. At 8 PM on Tuesday, December 24, a 38-year-old man was walking at West 72nd Street and Central Park West, when another man snatched his cell phone and ran away. The cell phone was an iPhone valued at $500.
