Convenient Robbery

a store clerk at ij convenience store, at 535 amsterdam ave. and west 86th street, notified police after finding the shop ransacked. police said that sometime between may 2-3, someone popped the front lock of the store and broke the metal gate. once inside, the burglar stole $500 in cash, 50 cartons of cigarettes and $3,200 in phone cards, cops said.
