Comedian Richard Jeni Fatally Shot

Brooklyn native and popular stand-up comedian [Richard Jeni died] of a gunshot wound in an apparent suicide. On Saturday morning, policed responded to a call placed by Jeni’s girlfriend, saying he had shot himself in his face. The 49-year-old was found alive but seriously injured; he later died at a nearby hospital.
