Colbert & O’Reilly Fizzle The News At You

The long awaited Colbert Meets O’Reilly Smackdown was ultimately a big letdown, but (almost) no one wants to admit it. A fake news guy met a fake news guy and, surprise, there were no fireworks. Now that the O’Reilly/Colbert meeting finally happened with no big payoff (seemed like Colbert remained shocked that O’Reilly actually showed up), we must now admit that watching anymore Colbert is not quite as good as the real thing (whether you’re looking for real news or real laughs–your call).
