Clothing Store Hold Up

a clothing store was nearly robbed by two men on sept. 16 at 7:40 p.m. police said that the suspects entered via veneto, at 2286 broadway and west 83rd street. one stood in the back of the store while the other went up to the register and told the cashier to hand over money. he moved his jacket to show a gun tucked into his waistband. an employee was able to call 911 and the two men ran, according to cops. a witness said they fled in a silver mercedes and drove east on west 82nd street.
