Clothing Store Burglarized

an employee at wink, a clothing store at 188 columbus ave. between west 68th and 69th streets, reported a man pilfering property from the back room. police said that on june 24 at 3:30 p.m., the burglar entered the rear employee office through the basement of the adjacent connecting building. soon after, the employee noticed the intruder rummaging around the break room. cops said he fled through the basement after stealing a digital phone from a purse.
