Clinton Over Obama 56-37, "Experience Matters"

A new Gallup Poll shows Hillary Clinton surging over Senate colleague Barack Obama, 56-37, up from her 53-41 lead in April.

When backing up their choice, those who chose Clinton said it was because she was more experienced than Obama. Aside from being in her second term in the Senate, Clinton also has eight years in the White House under her belt. Obama, on the other hand, hasn't even finished half of a single Senate term yet.

That lack of experience is also Obama's biggest strength according to the poll, with his "new ideas" and "fresh face" standing as the top reasons his supporters are behind him.
