Citi Bike Swiped

A Citi Bike was boosted on Maiden Lane. At 9:05 PM on Friday, August 23, a 24-year-old man was at the Citi Bike station on Maiden Lane, helping his friend rent a bike. He left the Citi Bike he had rented some ten feet away from him when a man walking eastbound on the south side of Maiden Lane got on the bike and pedaled off northbound onto Gold Street. The stolen city bike bore the number 701219 and was valued at $1,200.
