[Two men have been arrested for the burglary of St. Mel Catholic Church] that went down on Christmas Day. Daniel Morales, 26, was arrested Tuesday and arraigned Wednesday on charges of burglary and grand larceny, prosecutors said. If convicted, Morales faces up to seven years in the big house ... but no punishment can compare to Jesus’ critical eye—after all, the guy did ruin his birthday party. The other suspect, Dennis Almodovar, 24, was arrested Wednesday and is being held pending arraignment on charges of burglary, grand larceny and possession of stolen property—God’s property, to boot. The defense attorney for Almodovar purportedly turned over the stolen cash to police.
