On the afternoon of Saturday, April 6, a 25-year-old woman working at a custom belt store on West Broadway placed her cell phone on the sales counter and plugged the phone into an AC outlet to charge. An unknown person removed the cell phone, a debit card, and a driver's learning permit that were in the cell phone case. The GPS was not activated on the cell phone, preventing the tracking of its location. The victim suspended her phone service, and no unauthorized use was reported. She also called and canceled the debit card, and no unauthorized charges had been reported. The iPhone 4S was valued at $600. No arrests have been made.
