Cell Store Snatch

A 24-year-old woman working in a cell phone store on Third Avenue reported that four men in their early 20s entered the store at 12:35 PM on Wednesday, June 12, and ripped five usable cell phones off the wall, then jumped into a black 2012 Chevy Impala with New York license plates ESU2944. The car sped off northbound on Third Avenue. Police searched the area but could not find the car or the cell phone thieves. The stolen phones were all Samsungs: a Galaxy Note II worth $700, a Galaxy S3 valued at $600, two Galaxy S4’s worth $650, and another Galaxy S4 valued at $600, for a total haul of $3,200.
