Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion Jr. sent out a report a few days ago counting the amount of development his borough has seen since January, a number that tallies to over $500 million according to his figures. Carrion also noted that 331 new addresses were issued by the City in The Bronx during the same time frame.
Through the power of smart investment and strong growth we have helped change the story of The Bronx," said Carrion. These developments represent jobs for the entire Bronx and as I have said for years the best social program is a job.
The report is not online, but Carrion said that 91 of those addresses were issued in April, totaling $168 million in new development.
