by Jerry Danzig In the evening of Wednesday, May 8, a 55-year-old man entered a bank on Columbus Avenue and removed a carpet worth $400 from the ATM vestibule area. Then in the afternoon of Sunday, May 12, the same man removed a second $400 carpet from the ATM vestibule area at another branch of the same bank, this one on Broadway. The man was arrested on May 25 and charged with burglary. This guy gives new meaning to the phrase, "rug rat"!
