Cabbie Robbed

a jersey city, n.j., cabdriver was robbed in front of the amsterdam houses june 29 at 1:51 a.m. police said he picked up a fare at west 49th street and eighth avenue, who asked to be dropped off at west 63rd street and west end avenue. when the cab driver got to his destination, the man exited, pulled out a gun and walked up to the driver's side window, saying, "give me your money." he reached into the cab driver's shirt pocket and took $600. he fled into the amsterdam houses.
