A Woodside, Queens, taxi driver was robbed April 14 after dropping off a passenger. The 43-year-old driver told police that he picked up his passenger at Grand Central Station. He was told to go to 242 W. 63rd St., a dead-end street off West End Avenue. The passenger asked the driver if he had change for a $100 bill. When the driver said no, the passenger got out of the car and approached the passenger-side window. He asked the driver for his bag. When the driver protested, the mugger pulled out a black firearm. The driver handed over his bag, containing $800 cash. The mugger fled into the Amsterdam Houses.
