BUTTERFLY EFFECT
Jessica Alonso and Kaya Durran, students from the Goddard Riverside Head Start Program, use a magnifying glass to get a closer look at an owl butterfly inside the American Museum of Natural History’s Butterfly Conservatory. The conservatory, which houses up to 500 butterflies in a space filled with lush foliage and blooming tropical flowers, will be open to the public until May 25, 2009.
