Busta Rhymes turned himself in and was arrested at a Manhattan police station after a man complained that Busta had beaten him during a conflict over (what else?) money. Allegedly, a man told cops that Rhymes had repeatedly kicked and punched him outside a building in lower Manhattan on Dec. 26, and that he subsequently had to be treated at a hospital. The rap star is no stranger to the law: He was charged with assault back in August, got ticketed for talking on his celly while driving and may be a witness in the shooting and death of his bodyguard last February. But whatever, it’s all inspiration for his brilliantly probing music.
