Bloomberg Wants His Pork Chops and Apple Sauce In Peace!

Apparently, Mayor Michael Bloomberg is getting a little ticked off by those damn telemarketing calls during dinner. Welcome to the club. [Today he complained to a U.S. Senate committee about receiving sales calls on his secure line.] The nerve! In fact, the kitchen in Bloomberg's Upper East Side townhouse has been readied for emergency top-secret communications. In relation to protecting America after 9/11, Bloomberg was asked about New York City's updated communications equipment, which enables police, fire, health and other officials to talk to each other in a crisis. Bloomberg then mentioned how his crisis calls all pertain to insurance sales, and how the crisis line hasn’t been used otherwise. While that might be annoying to Bloomie, it’s good news to hear.
