On Monday March 4th at 4:30 p.m., a Brooklyn woman was waiting for a cab on the corner of Worth and Church Streets after a downtown shopping trip. The woman had placed her three shopping bags on the ground, and two men approached her and struck up a conversation. By the time they were finished talking and had walked away, the woman noticed that one of her bags, containing a $1,500 MacBook and $500 sunglasses, was missing. She was able to round up some friends in the neighborhood to help her canvas the neighborhood, and police apprehended two men, ages 32 and 37, in possession of the woman's loot. The men were arrested for grand larceny.
