    Joing the Kips Bay Neighborhood Association for their first official spring planting on Saturday, May 4th. The group will be beautifying tree pits along 2nd avenue, loosing up the soil, applying mulch and planting a variety of annuals to brighten up the neighborhood. There will have some tools available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. Plan on getting a little dirty, and dressing appropriately. Meet at 9 a.m. at the northeast corner of East 33rd Street and Second Avenue. Rain date is May 11th. RSVP to kbna.info@gmail.com.
