If you’re interested in taking your baseball fanaticism to disturbing new places, have I got a deal for you.
Today, Eternal Image received approval from Major League Baseball to begin the design and marketing of officially licensed caskets featuring the logos of all 30 major league franchises.
“This approval paves the way for us to move forward and
create the designs for the other seven caskets to be included in the first group
that will be produced this summer,” said Clint Mytych,
CEO of Eternal Image.
The company has already begun designing urns featuring official team logos, so why not caskets? The first completed casket is an homage to the Chicago Cubs (pictured), which is fitting since most Cubs fans probably wish they were dead anyway.
