Money was withdrawn from a man's bank account after he lost his debit card and cell phone. At 2 AM on Sunday, August 11, a man from Hicksville, NY, was outside a bar on Spring Street when he realized that he had lost his cell phone and debit card. Someone removed money from his account without authorization a few hours later. When the man reported the loss to police on August 15, he stated that he did not remember exactly what happened outside the bar, but that he woke up the next day with a scrape on his hand. He canceled his debit card and purchased a new phone. More than $900 had been taken from his bank account, and his missing iPhone 4S was valued at $500.
