Attempt to Raid Doc’s Office

On Sept. 17, a man attempted to burglarize a doctor’s office at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, at 425 W. 59th St. near Columbus Avenue. Police said that at 7:45 p.m. that night, a man entered the building unlawfully and was seen on the 7th floor exiting the doctor’s office. When he tried to leave through the lobby with a bag, an employee confronted him. During an argument, the employee grabbed the bag and the burglar fled. The bag contained prescriptions, bandages and medical papers, cops said.
