Assault on Wall Street

A woman was assaulted and her iPad stolen on the street in the financial district. At Wednesday, August 21, at 4:45 PM, a 30-year-old woman was approached from behind by two women at the southwest corner of Front Street and Wall Street. One stood in front of her asking for her iPhone, while the other stayed behind her. They both pushed her against a parked truck and knocked her to the ground. One of the suspects, a 20-year-old, was apprehended after a positive ID, arrested, and charged with robbery. Her accomplice left in an unknown direction with the stolen item, an Apple iPad valued at $800.
