Just seen in front of the Empire State Building, next to the [tour bus hawkers]: A gaggle of girls who look as pure as the driven snow—or at least as pure as they come from Boise, Idaho—are handing out fold-out maps and small cards with pointers for out-of-towners.

The girls look like they’ve never ventured above 125th Street, which is good, since the maps they’re passing out stop right there. Seems silly for “the [City's first-ever five-borough marketing and advertising campaign]” to have such myopic vision. Only those tourists on the go with Wi-Fi capability can check out the [campaign’s website](http://www.nycvisit.com/JATL/index.cfm?pagePkey=1989&pg=2) map of the five boroughs.

Otherwise, if anyone dares take the campaign’s advice and head out to Sheepshead Bay, like the pin attached to the Top 10 list is goading them to do, they might have a hell of a time figuring out the [B train].
