Apartment Burglarized

a 25-year-old woman's apartment was broken into new year's day at 4 p.m. the victim told police that she locked her door when she left her apartment, on west 71st street between columbus and amsterdam avenues. police said that upon returning, she found the door ajar and saw signs of forced entry. a laptop was stolen.
