		<description><![CDATA[I saw this show, and Mr. Strassler is pretty much on the money. Hopefully, this well-intentioned misfire will cool the trend of mining early-90s movies for Broadway. (Doug, you forgot to mention Ghost.) The film version of Leap of Faith film was never a great movie, but Steve Martin committed to the role as best he could, and the script presented the subject matter with an interesting ambiguity: Is Jonas really ripping people off or is he just selling them the fairy tales they want to believe in? None of that depth is present in the musical -- a fact that might have been forgivable had the right performer been cast in the role of Jonas.   ]]></description>
