27% Go For Any Means Necessary

    A new Rasmussen Report finds that 42% of Americans beleive that the United States engages in the torture of prisoners captured during the war on terrorism, despite [presidential assurances] otherwise.

    More interestingly, the poll finds that 27% of Americans are willing to allow that torture to happen, and 41% of respondents think that torture is an effective interrogation technique. Torture or no torture, 66% of all Americans still think we treat our prisoners of war better than other nations.
